What have been the highlights?
I have really enjoyed my work placement as I have been able to see the reality of healthcare which has further inspired me to work in this environment. It has also widened my knowledge with how a hospital functions.

Did you undertake any work experience?
Yes, I worked at North Devon District Hospital for work experience, through the NHS. My experience was so beneficial and amazing. It has further confirmed my knowledge and passion for the NHS.

What do you plan to do when you leave 麻豆国产精品?
Go to university to study physiotherapy.

Any advice for someone picking the same course?
If you鈥檙e considering going into health care, join! It will be worth your time.

What made you choose your course?
I was doing a course before and it wasn’t for me. However, I had a passion for midwifery and decided to go with my gut. I was told about T Levels and as soon as I heard about placements that sealed the deal!

What did you most enjoy about studying at 麻豆国产精品?
I most enjoyed the placements and getting the whole work experience, over 300 hrs in a work environment which you don’t get on any other course

Do you have any future plans?
I have got a place at the University of South Wales, studying a foundation course in Community Health and Wellbeing, which is a stepping stone course to Midwifery. This would then lead me on to become a midwife.

Any advice for someone choosing the same course as you?
Take in all of it, everything is so important, especially with placements, and ask as many questions as you can. You might find one placement you aren’t keen on, but keep your options open. T Levels are fantastic – my whole group has done amazingly!

I most enjoy doing lots of projects and being able to use all the resources 麻豆国产精品 offers, to practice real life scenarios which allows us to prepare for placement.

Did you undertake any work experience?
Yes, we worked at North Devon Hospital. I had a really positive experience in meeting loads of people doing the jobs we want to do. It鈥檚 helped me decide my next steps by opening my eyes to all the careers available.

What do you plan to do when you leave 麻豆国产精品?
I plan to take a gap year, then go to university to study paramedics.

Any advice for someone picking the same course?
Ask lots of questions and try to get involved as much as possible. Revise as you go and reflect a lot.

I did work experience at both NDH and Ilfracombe Community Tyrell Hospital. My work experience was beneficial because it showed me I wouldn鈥檛 like to work on wards but instead different areas within the healthcare industry.

I鈥檇 like to progress onto a higher apprenticeship

Work hard. Don鈥檛 give up. Be proactive.

I have completed work experience at multiple places such as: North Devon Hospital, Padfields and Bideford Community Hospital. It has been an enjoyable experience and it has helped me realise I have the confidence to continue a career in the healthcare sector.

I want to go to university to become a children鈥檚 nurse.

It is hard but it is an enjoyable experience. You have to put in what you want to get out.
